The Thomas A. and John S. Cooper Memorial Scholarship was established in 2014, by the Rising Sun Ohio County School Corporation with the bequeathed funds of Mrs. Mary Louise Espey Cooper in memory of her husband, Thomas A. Cooper and son, John S. Cooper.
