The Dana Lee Ballard Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2011 by his parents, Betty and Stanley and his siblings after losing Dana to a long illness caused by cancer. Dana was a 1991 graduate of Rising Sun High School. Dana was well known in the community as a trainer of physical education; therefore, preference will be given to an applicant interested in fitness training, sports training or physical therapy.
