This scholarship was established by Phylis Pastor within the Ohio County Community Foundation, in memory of her beloved pet, Homer. Ms. Pastor established the scholarship to ensure other pets and animals will receive proper care and treatment.
Applicant must be an Ohio County resident. Preference is given to students currently enrolled or accepted into a Veterinary of Medicine Sciences program pursuing a degree as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Technologist or Veterinary Technician. If there are no student(s) in the pool of applications meeting the preference criteria, the scholarship is to be awarded to another qualifying student.
