The Ohio County Community Foundation is pleased to administer the Rising Sun High School Dual Enrollment Scholarship Program (a component of the Community/Junior College Scholarship program) established by the City of Rising Sun. It is the objective of the City of Rising Sun to financially assist all Rising Sun High School Seniors who participate in the Ivy Tech dual enrollment program during their Senior year. Each school year, the City of Rising Sun will determine the scholarship award. The scholarship amount for the 2025-2026 school year will be up to $1,000 per award.
REQUIREMENTS
*Applicant must be a current Rising Sun High School Senior
*Applicant must be participating in the Ivy Tech Dual Enrollment Program offered through RSHS
*This scholarship will be paid directly to Ivy Tech upon receipt of an invoice from Ivy Tech
*The scholarship will cover tuition, required fees and books
*This Dual Enrollment scholarship will count as one of the 6 Community/Junior College Scholarships that students may be eligible to apply for after they have graduated
*If a student withdraws from Rising Sun High School, their scholarship will be forfeited and they will be responsible for all incurred costs
