Grants will be considered only for non-profit organizations whose conference/training program will benefit the residents of Ohio County.

Conference/Training Grants are awarded throughout the year on a first come, first served basis until all funds for the current year have been allotted.  Organizations may receive no more than 2 Conference/Training Grants per year totaling $300 or less.  The maximum request on an application is $150.  An organization cannot receive two grants to attend the same conference.

This grant can be used to send individuals from a non-profit organization to a conference/training or to bring a conference/training to the organization.  Funds cannot be used for lodging, food or travel expenses.  Funds can be used for conference registration fees or for training materials/speakers.

Applications can be approved by the Executive Director and do not require full Board approval.  Decisions on funding are made in a timely manner.
